Falling: A Seasonal Creativity Program

Welcome to Falling.

Join us for a new seasonal creativity program that aligns with the gifts of Fall—taking stock, giving thanks, letting go, slowing down, liminal space, and connecting with our unique soul music.

Fall’s waning light, shadows, and uncertainty can feel welcoming to some and bring up discontent and unease in others.

Like the trees bursting into brilliant color before loosening their grip to become humble nourishment for the earth, Fall invites us towards reflection, release and a return to soul.

The invitation of fall is to loosen your grip on the person you’ve needed to be, in order to make space for the person you’re becoming.
— James A. Pearson

This program provides space to explore Fall’s creative inquiry:

  • How have I changed and what am I learning about myself now?

  • How does slowing down and making space enhance my deepest connection to creativity in this season of waning light?

  • What stories am I telling myself—are they helpful and supportive?

  • What area of life is calling for realignment?

  • What is underneath—in the soil, in the soul—longing to be sung?

to create, ‘music so deeply/That it is not heard at all, but you are the music.’
— T.S. Eliot

this Seasonal program is for you if:

  • You want to create space for reflection, honoring and self-expression.

  • You want something to look forward to each week—a steady, soul-nourishing routine—during the Fall season.

  • You’re ready to enter the liminal space of poetry and soul and re-align with your authentic nature at this season of life.

  • You struggle with the waning light, letting go—the catch and release aspect of Fall—as we enter the last quarter of the year.

  • You crave space to connect to your inner season, to the spirit of trust, and to your belonging in the larger web of life.

  • You want to listen, share, and connect with others in a supportive community.

Nothing remains static. There is an ever-changing rhythm of passage, cycling through one phase to the next. When we observe the transitions of the moon, the seasons, and our own internal tides, we’re reminded to go with the flow, as change is always around the next corner.
— Claire Mack

Insights from Wintering: A Seasonal Creativity Program participants:

I loved, loved, loved the group and the book and all the teachings and tools you provided were so supportive. Thank you for creating this beautiful, creative, wintering program. I loved it! (Still hate winter though.)
— Amy A.
The Wintering program was deep and comforting at the start of the year. The reading, journaling, and nature prompts added creative inspiration in a season I usually just try to get through. Wintering helped me be more present to the beauty and gifts of the season.
— Nancy M.
Jenn’s Wintering program was the gentle hug I needed to explore the winter in a soulful, nature-based way. Our cohort was guided through winter with an engaging book, creative experiences, and ways to engage with nature and tarot to nurture the fire within. Together, we created a warm hearth to dive into the quiet of nature and plant seeds to take into spring.
— Jenn O.
Wintering made me understand how this season can be a richly creative time for dreaming, imagining, and gathering seeds. Jenn’s invitations were so creative, inspiring and wonderfully unique. Each week was thoughtfully matched with the book pages, while also allowing for freedom in pace and self-expression. Being in a group, it’s even more potent! Listening to each other’s experiences while held in a sacred container, as Jenn always does, allows for a deep, playful, real discovery and unfolding.
— Monica L.
Jenn’s gentleness, wisdom, light hearted humor, her deep connection to nature, seasonal shifts, planetary phases and her experience in facilitation helped us create a special communal circle that honored and deepened my relationship to winter and helped me be more respectful of my cyclical need for deep rest so that I can appreciate, and even revel in, my creative output in all its phases. I miss the circle already.
