Spring Emerging: A Seasonal Creativity Program

Welcome to Spring Emerging.

Join us for a new seasonal creativity program that aligns with the gifts of Spring—renewal, hope, softening, tender action, audacity and vulnerability.

Spring’s growth and movement can feel vulnerable after the quiet, internal process of Winter.

Like the tender buds and blossoms emerging on Winter’s branches Spring invites us to take our first tentative steps forward.

The invitation of spring is to risk bringing what’s new and tender in you out into the unruly world.
— James A. Pearson

This program provides space to explore Spring’s invitation to us:

  • How do we allow the tender shoots of our ideas to emerge in Spring without the inner critic cutting them off before they have a chance to grow?

  • How do we let our innocence/hope have a spot at the table?

  • How do we let ourselves be new, reborn, child-like in order to fake some first steps with bravery, tenderness and vulnerability?

  • How do we let ourselves be soft, open, and curious as we proceed and not turn our ideas into serious “adult” actions?

this Seasonal program is for you if:

  • You want to create space for what’s emerging in your creative process and your own soft, tender growth.

  • You want something to look forward to each week—to fill your inner well with fresh, enlivening water—during the Spring season.

  • You’re ready to take tender, audacious action on your dream seeds.

  • You struggle with fear, perfectionism, procrastination, and/or self-sabotage and want to soften these edges and the inner-critic.

  • You crave space to connect to your inner season, to the spirit of hope, and the natural world around you.

  • You want to listen, share, and connect with others in a supportive community.

It [hope] possesses a ‘tender, graceful audacity’. There is also something contemplative about hope. It leans forward and listens attentively. The receptivity of hope makes it tender, lends it beauty and grace.
— Byung-Chul Han, The Spirit of Hope
